This is a 25 lb. (3.5 gallon) heavy-duty plastic pail of white non-indicating silica gel. The silica gel desiccant is made of silicon dioxide and formed into hard beads 2-5 mm in diameter. The beads have a strong affinity for water vapor and are commonly used for humidity control applications. The HDPE pail includes a handle and lid with a rubber gasket. The pail is an excellent solution for long term storage and no-mess handling of bulk desiccant beads.
White silica gel contains no color changing indicator can be regenerated in an oven at 350F for 2 hours.
