This is a 55 lbs. bag of white non-indicating silica gel. The silica gel desiccant is made of silicon dioxide and formed into hard beads 2-5 mm in diameter. The beads have a strong affinity for water and are commonly used for humidity control applications.
White silica gel contains no color changing indicator and may be used in applications where human exposure is a consideration. If a color changing feature is required and human exposure is a concern, consider orange silica gel.
The desiccant is triple bagged with interior bag tie-offs, allowing for long term storage after the initial use. Store in a cool dry area.
