This is a 25 lb. resealable pail of blue indicating silica gel beads. Silica gel has a strong affinity for water vapor and is commonly used as a desiccant in a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
These beads are impregnated with a color changing moisture indicator. When dry, the beads are a deep blue. Saturated beads become light pink.
The pail is constructed of high strength HDPE and includes a handle. The lid has a rubber gasket for superior long term storage and provides an excellent vapor barrier.

Blue silica gel contains cobalt chloride and should not be used in applications where human exposure is a concern. For applications that require a color indicating bead where human exposure is a concern, consider orange silica gel.
