This is a 7 lbs. (one gallon) mylar pouch of blue indicating silica gel. The desiccant beads have a strong affinity for water vapor and are useful in a wide range of humidity control applications. When dry the beads are deep blue and turn light pink when saturated. The desiccant can be regenerated at 350F and reused.

Blue silica gel contains cobalt chloride and should not be used in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical applications. For color indicating silica gel without cobalt chloride, consider using orange silica gel desiccant.
