This is a one quart, 1.5 LB re-sealable mylar bag of blue indicating silica gel. Silica gel is a powerful desiccant for use in a wide range of humidity control applications.
Silica gel is made of silicon dioxide and formed into hard 3-5 mm diameter beads. The beads are impregnated with a moisture indicating material with a deep blue color that turns pink when saturated.
