Molecular Sieve

Molecular sieve is a synthetic zeolite commonly used as a desiccant to selectively adsorb water from a variety of gases and liquids.  Common applications include the dehydration of compressed air, solvents, hydrocarbons, refrigerants, and inert gases.   Molecular sieves are also used in a variety of air and gas separation processes, such as the selective adsorption of oxygen in nitrogen generators.
