13X Molecular sieve is a synthetic zeolite commonly used as a desiccant to selectively adsorb water, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and hydrogen sulfide from a variety of gases and liquids. 13X molecular sieve has a pore diameter of 10 angstroms.
Common applications include the dehydration of compressed air, solvents, hydrocarbons, refrigerants, and inert gases. 13X Molecular sieves are also used in a variety of air and gas separation processes, such as the selective adsorption of oxygen in nitrogen generators.
