This zero air loss pneumatically controlled condensate drain for compressed air systems is a functional equivalent to Ingersoll Rand part number PNLD II-28. Use of the OEM name and part number is for cross reference purposes only.
The operation of the drain simple yet incredibly robust and energy efficient. A stainless steel float sits within the translucent reservoir. When the condensate level within the reservoir rises to a set-point, pilot air actuates a pneumatic cylinder and opens a full-ported 1/2" ball valve. Condensate drains from the reservoir until the float moves below the set-point. No compressed air is purged from the system, making the drain both quiet and energy efficient.
