Hankison inline desiccant dryer model HDF1 is a point-of-use air dryer for critical applications include spray painting, pneumatics, plasma cutters and more. The dryer contains a bed of adsorbent desiccant beads for removing humidity from the compressed air. Desiccant beads are color indicating and can be regenerated or replaced when saturated. Purchase of the dryer includes an initial fill of desiccant.
How it Works
Compressed air enters the dryer housing and flows downward through a bed of silica gel desiccant. As the desiccant bed gets saturated, the color of the desiccant change-out indicator changes from blue to white. At the bottom of the housing, the compressed air flows upwards through an integrated dust filter and into an outlet air stream which takes it to the outlet port of the dryer housing.
